Искането е на база постъпило в общината заявление от представители на таксиметрови фирми с предложение за увеличаване на минималните и максималните цени на километър пробег. Като причини се посочват инфлацията през изминалите години, повишените цени на сервизните услуги, поскъпване на алтернативното екологично гориво и минималния осигурителен доход от началото на 2025 г. С решение от 14 октомври 2022 г. общинският съвет е определил минимална цена от 0.80 лв. и максимална цена от 1.25 лв. за дневна тарифа и минимална цена от 0.85 лв. и максимална цена от 1.30 лв. за нощна тарифа за таксиметров превоз на пътници за един километър пробег, валидни за територията на община Хасково. От таксиметровите фирми обаче посочват, че годишната инфлация през януари 2023 г. спрямо януари 2022 г. е 16.4%, инфлацията през януари 2024 г. спрямо януари 2023 г. е 3.8%, а тази през януари 2025 г. спрямо януари 2024 г. е 3.7%. В същото време минималната работна заплата в страната се е увеличила с над 50% от 710 лв. за 2022 г. до 1 077 лв. за януари 2025 г., което води до по-големи разходи за таксиметровите компании. Значително повишение има на цените на гражданската отговорност за таксиметровите автомобили, чиято стойност вече е от два до три пъти по-висока от тази на превозни средства за лична употреба, се казва още в докладната. Увеличение има в услугите, които превозвачите използват за поддържане на техническото състояние на автомобилите, прегледите на автомобилите, които се извършват на шест месеца, таксите които заплащат за издаване на разрешителни за таксиметров превоз, вписване и отписване на автомобили от Удостоверение за регистрация за извършване на таксиметров превоз на пътници и други услуги към Община Хасково са увеличени. Във връзка с това се предлага минималната цена за дневната тарифа да стане 1.10 лева, а максималната – 1.60 лева, а за нощната тарифа минималната цена да е 1.26 лева, а максималната – 1.90 лева.
